Reel deal taco and Fresh art

The Reel Deal Taco truck will be serving up fresh grilled tacos at San Diego's 15th Annual Gaslamp Quarter FRESH ART event. This year's event features a pop-up gallery with several independent up-and-coming visual artist, fashion designers, and wave-making musicians.

Local musical performances and artisan booths will line the district for a weekend on celebrating San Diego's emerging and fresh talent. Come hear Brazilian jazz and more from local musicians while sampling the best mobile cuisine in San Diego. FRESH Artists debuting this year include seas glass sculptor Sandy Fisher, The Tinker Swymm Band, and environment artist Mac Errol.

Come out and support the local artists of San Diego and experience the fiesta of FRESH ART and FRESH Reel Deals Tacos! Tickets are available at the Market Docks Box Office and online at FA San Diego starting at $5 for kids and $8 for adults. This is a Gaslamp Quarter Signature event!
UCSD Underwater Robot Competition

Reel Deal Tacos is proud to be voted "Best Tacos" by the students and faculty at UC San Diego and honored to cater The MATE Center and Scripps Oceanography hosted Underwater Robot Competition. Teams from around the world will compete in underwater missions using underwater robots that they designed and built themselves. MATE's remotely operated vehicles (ROV) competition combines ROVs with computer programs to teach technical, engineering, scientific, and critical thinking skills needed in the marine technological fields today. MATE's competition helps student identify careers highlihitng their skills, addresing the need for qualified engineers and technical professionals. Students compete to apply the ROV technology to solve challenges facing scientists and engineers working in extreme ocean environments
Unleashed by petco surf dog competition
July 4th | 2pm-7pm By imperial beach pier, ca
It's time for the biggest splash event o the year! At the Unleashed by Petco Surf Dog Competition, dogs jump on their boards and chase the perfect wave! The whole family will have a good time cheering for the fearless surfers in the annual dog competition. Enter your dog in the competition or just come take in all the fun under the sun! Plenty of prizes and categories for all sized four-legged friends. Spectators are FREE, with a $5.00 registration fee for competitors. The Reel Deal Taco Truck will be on site to fuel your day with the freshest grilled and blackened fish tacos and quench your thirst with plenty of our organic fresh-squeezed limeade! KOWABUNGA!

Unleashed by Petco, previously the Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition is held yearly in Imperial Beach, CA. Dogs compete in ten-minute races in an attempt to catch several waves and support the fundraiser for animal related charities.

The freshest summer recipes
Today Brenda is planning for a new summer taco to add to the Reel Deal Taco lineup. Starting the process is a tour of the local organic farms. Brenda has always had the highest standards for ingredients for topping her fresh fish tacos! The Poseiden Fish Company is our top pick to filet and pack the freshly caught halibut, tilapia, and cod for the Reel Deal Taco Truck. Our Culinary , Maya, will oversee the daily selection of fresh picks once Brenda has chosen all of the producers. What would we do without Maya?! Once the best vegetables for the season are determined, based on water availability, projected heat index, and customer demand, Brenda will combine the freshest and best tasting organic vegetables, herbs, and garnished available. Her salsas are known throughout San Diego for the bright flavors and tangy accents Reel Deal Tacos deserve!
